WAAAAY back is when it started for Brandon and Paige...Kindergarten for Paige and 3rd Grade for Brandon. Paige was best friends with Brandon's little sister and back then Paige thought Brandon was the cutest thing ever but he was too old for her since he was older... but she had the biggest kindergarten crush on him. Fast forward to high school, they were working at the same place and reconnected. Next thing they knew, they were inseparable!
Brandon and Paige tied the knot at a beautifully remodeled barn, The Crystal Coop, in Anderson, IN! The venue had it all...a perfect suit for both the Bride and the Groom and their wedding party to get ready, a covered porch for outdoor mingling or option for the ceremony, the most beautiful outdoor ceremony space, and honestly the perfect space for a sunset!
Brandon and Paige's wedding day was full of love and laughter and LOTS of excitement! Paige and her bridesmaids arrived at the venue only to discover that they were without out power due to a storm that rolled through early that morning! The venue had a generator hooked up and the girls made the most of their time! Paige and her hairdresser had their work cut out for them with the power flickering on and off...at one point curling her hair in my car was an option! Paige and her girls were STUNNING!!!! They never once let the morning get them down and the Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist KILLED IT!!! The guys arrival was a little more stressful however when they were told NO XBOX!!!
The day continued to bring more obstacles and the outdoor wedding was moved to the covered porch due to a storm scheduled to hit right at ceremony time! With all the changes Paige was ready to walk down the isle and see her groom for the first time! The two exchanged wedding vows that they wrote and you could instantly tell that nothing mattered but one another! We were able to squeeze in some kisses and veil tosses as the storm grew closer!
The venue still had no power...which meant no air...all the guests and wedding party were troopers throughout the reception and they were all there to celebrate the beautiful love of Brandon and Paige! Bouquet and garter tosses, shoe game, cake cutting, a donut wall, and all the dancing made their reception the perfect ending to their beautiful day!
After the storm we had the MOST BEAUTIFUL sunset!!!! After a day full of surprises and good luck rain we got exactly what Paige had been waiting for! The now Mr. and Mrs. Kerkhoff ended their night with a sunset kiss...or two.
